How do video minutes work?
Your usage is measured by the total runtime of the video content in your subtitle file. A 10-minute video counts as 10 minutes. For batch translation, minutes are only counted once — additional languages are free.

How accurate are the translations?
Our AI uses advanced language models to provide high-quality translations that preserve context and tone. While very accurate, we recommend reviewing important translations before publishing.
What audio and video formats are supported for transcription?
Whisper AI supports all common formats including MP3, MP4, M4A, WAV, OGG, and WEBM. The maximum file size for transcription is 25 MB. Transcription is available on Starter and above plans.
Can I edit subtitles directly in the browser?
Yes — Starter and above plans include the inline subtitle editor. You can adjust timing, split or merge cues, and edit text without ever downloading a file. Changes are reflected in your export.
Which export formats are supported?
You can export as SRT (most universal), VTT (web/streaming), ASS (styled), or SBV (YouTube native). All formats are available on every plan including Free.
Can I translate the same file to multiple languages?
Yes! You can translate to as many languages as needed in one batch. Minutes are only counted once — additional languages in the same batch are free of charge.
How long does translation take?
Most files are processed within 1–3 minutes. Larger files or batch translations may take longer. Pro and Business subscribers get priority processing for faster results.
What if my translation gets rejected?
If content is flagged by our moderation system, processing stops and you won't be charged. Review our content guidelines and try removing any potentially problematic content.
How do I upload subtitles to YouTube?
In YouTube Studio, go to your video → Subtitles → Add Language → Upload File → select your translated SRT or SBV file. Make sure to select the correct target language.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. You'll retain your plan's features until the end of the current billing period, then revert to Free.
